Mobile Device Usage Policy for Fans
The USGA encourages fans to capture their favorite moments at our championships. We have set guidelines on mobile device usage to ensure our players and other fans are not disrupted during the championship. Fans may carry mobile devices smaller than 7” in length and/or height; however, please make sure all device volume controls are set to “silent” or “vibrate” and flash photography is disabled before entering the championship. Phone calls must not be received or placed in any area that may disrupt play.
If you notice an issue, please call it in on radio to either the Championship Director or Chief Referee or Rules Lead for further direction.
Camera/Photography Policy for Fans
Photography, video and audio recording are permitted throughout the course, but such content must not be used for commercial purposes. No live streaming or near-live streaming or shot-by-shot or hole-by-hole coverage (with or without) is permitted. Violation of the above policy may result in immediate expulsion and loss of ticket privileges for the remainder of a championship.
If you notice an issue, please call it in on radio to either the Championship Director or Chief Referee or Rules Lead for further direction.
