Congregation Areas 

The setup at every club will be different, familiarize yourself with championship dining and other areas where you can congregate and socialize. There may be areas off-limits to Committee Members, observe signage designating areas. If an area has been designated as member/player/staff only, respect those areas. When at the club, be cognizant of your surroundings, especially when talking about player or club situations.  

Social Events 

Committee Members are strongly encouraged to attend social events during championship week.  Information on available social events can be found on the Golf Genuis site for the championship. We encourage you to get to know and/or reconnect with your fellow Committee Members during these social opportunities.   

Rules Meeting 

The pre-championship Rules meeting is a mandatory function for all Committee Members volunteering for the championship. Critical information pertaining to the course, facility operations, schedule of events, etc. are conveyed during this gathering. Prior to the Rules meeting, you should have reviewed the golf course, the Notice to Players, Hole-by-Hole Notes and your hole assignments for stroke play.
