Code of Conduct 

Alcoholic Beverages – While volunteering at USGA qualifiers and championships, the consumption of alcoholic beverages and any illegal substances is prohibited.  

Committee Members are encouraged to use sound judgment when representing the USGA and when attending meetings and other functions where alcoholic beverages are present when representing the Association, and refrain from becoming inebriated.  

Tobacco Products – While on duty at USGA qualifiers and championships, the use of tobacco products is discouraged. Tobacco products should not be used while interacting with players or near players, or while on duty at both the Junior Amateur and Girls’ Junior championships.  

Committee Members are encouraged to respect the club’s and/or facility’s on-site tobacco policy when representing the USGA and when attending meetings and other functions. 

Unbecoming behavior may be grounds for dismissal from the Committee.
